Welcome to the web home and forum of the Seven Nation Army.
The Seven Nation Army is not a clan and we do not operate a clan server. Our server is set to offer a variation of Day of Defeat 1.3 (not Source) in which all maps offer an Axis v British scenario. A scenario first offered by the Self Preservation Society, a server on which many of the founding regular players, first met and played
As far as we know, no other server offers this Axis v British scenario, which together with the friendly and adult attitude to game play we endeavour to encourage, seems to make our server popular.
By adult attitude, we do not mean that any thing goes. While bad language, racist remarks and unsporting behaviour are not tolerated, we do have a more relaxed attitude to behaviour after 9.00pm UK time. Note that our admins, may ban without warning, anyone whose behaviour they consider impacts upon others enjoyment of the server.
Why do we call our selves/server the Seven Nation Army? Because the group of twelve players who were the founding members of the server come from seven different countries :- Belgium; France; Germany; Ireland; Romania; USA & UK.
While we are not a clan, many of our regulars preface their name with a 7NA | tag. We are quite happy for players to do this, provided that they;

..to buy himself a new golfkart.
I have been on a trip to California, and most of these photos were
taken on Catalina Island. It is about 25 miles off of the California
"The 'desert' pictures were taken near the California /
Arizona border. There were 5 army bases out there during WWII that
trained troops for desert warfare in N. Africa. Thought you might
like to see them."
John/Semi, as these last pictures are from the border between California - Arizona, where you driving there all the way down from Kansas?

Sorry I haven't been on for a long long while, I have been working and have had no computer, had to save up for a new one.
How is everyone?
Does anyone still go on the server? I have been on the past few times lately when I had chance and I have been the only person that is online?
Looking forward to see you all on again in near time

yesterday evening I smashed into a car that turned into a street without checking for cyclists in the bike lane. Minor damage to the bike, cuts and bruises to the cyclist, car driver is still alive...
Ouch, that hurt!

Ouch and I were playing with Teamspeak today, and it does work quite nicely. Best part was that my 'choke' stopped going through the roof every time someone spoke. However, right after Ouch left, I somehow inadvertently muted teamspeak. Never could get it back on. later that evening, I found, on the teamspeak forum, that you could create a 'hotkey' by following this:
Settings> Options> ADD (in Profile details)>Misc>Capture Profile>Toggle>Default...set Hotkey>OK
So, I set out to do this and somewhere along the line (I think it was at ADD) I discovered that the "/" key was already set to toggle "mute" on and off. So I didn't have to do anything as it did work already.
The only reason I bring this up is that I do not think that I set this up that way. I think it was just 'defaulted' to this setting. Not sure. So, If you want to use Teamspeak 3, you might want to check the "/" key out first before you start making changes.
